Season Opens with Cotton Candy and lots of Tequila

This industry comes along with a slew of networking associations and a bevy of networking events and we are surely not complaining! But last week's Season Opener at SoCool eVenue was one for the record books. Organized by leading ladies, Lauren Goldberg (So Cool) and Jackie Becker (Quest Drape), the soiree brought out more than 500 revelers industry wide!

From the red carpet entry that doubled as a model's dress train to the 10" ice luge complete with stilt-walkers, every vendor put their best foot forward. 

"I am really impressed with the food tonight," said Ann Keursh of BizBash Media. "It seems every caterer really stepped it up."

As for us, we took the "kill-them-with-curiosity" route and featured fried yucca balls with a cilantro aioli and lime cloud (aka cotton candy). It was a hit!
