Fans Get Feted at First-Ever Facebook Appreciation Happy Hour

More than 50 guests gathered at downtown Miami's BIN 18 Bistro Wine and Beer Loft on Wednesday night for our first-ever Facebook Fan Appreciation Happy Hour. The casual, not-so-networker of an event, was our team's way of saying Thank You the many who follow our Facebook Page daily.

"We wanted to strengthen our social media efforts by providing our fans and followers with a tangible AARON'S CATERING experience," says Eric Kern, General Manager.

As guests entered the 100-seat restaurant (named Miami New Times "Best Wine Store 2009") they were given wine corks in lieu of the predictable paper drink ticket. In addition, rather than have guests sign in, each was prompted to enter their information via the new ipad. Both adjustments resulted in a smaller carbon footprint and conversation pieces among guests.

As the evening progressed, guests lounged against AARON'S CATERING-branded pillows, noshed on cured meats and international cheeses and indulged on complimentary glasses of wine and draft beer. Raising the heat index, shots of Patron paired with a lime nectar pipette were also served.

The happy hour wrapped around 8:30pm, with many fans staying for dinner and dessert.
