Royal Wedding Rundown...


We are not as obsessed as most, or at least we didn't think so...until now. The upcoming nuptials of Kate Middletown and Prince William are buzzing all overt the blogosphere and we just couldn't help ourselves. 

Here are some noteworthy tidbits we discovered about the wedding that will take place later this month...

-The couple will have two receptions. one in the afternoon catering for 600 and the other in the evening for just 300 close friends and family. The party will stretch across 19 rooms.

 -The menu will be more modern than those of the past. Forget, the 12-course meal, Kate and William want be fresh and original.

-William and Kate will tie the knot on 29 April, with the Friday declared a Royal Bank Holiday.

-The Queen’s head chef Mark Flannigan will plan the menu.

-Flannigan will have a staff of 21 chefs.

-The menu is a closely guarded secret and will likely change.

-A 26-year old Welsh harpist will play at Buckingham Palace as Prince William and Kate Middleton arrive for their wedding reception.

-Broadcasters are discussing the possibility of broadcasting the British Royal Wedding in 3D.

- 100 Golden Tickets are said to have been issued ‘willy wonka style’ to members of the public.  

-The dress code is uniform, morning coat or lounge suit.
